From Cracks to Sparks
Guided by the Kintsugi spirit, these bespoke workshops invite each participant to repair, reflect, and reconnect.

A transformative experience
Designed for teams, organisations and private groups, our tailor-made Kintsugi Workshops bring the golden art of repair into practice and real life. Together, we design a unique experience that fits your needs and your timing to shift perspectives and spark meaningful transformation.
The Art of Golden Repair
Kintsugi is a 15th-century Japanese art form that consists of repairing broken pottery with gold, highlighting the cracks rather than concealing them. It is a powerful metaphor for resilience: teaching us that strength doesn’t come from perfection, but from embracing transformation. Through Kintsugi, teams and individuals can discover how ordeals may become sources of insight, and how challenges can open the door to new possibilities.

What to expect in our kintsugi workshops
In our Kintsugi workshops, the group move between short moments of theory, guided introspection, sharing, symbolic rituals and mindful, hands-on Kintsugi practice.
Depending on the chosen format, the participants can either work on their own bowl, or come together around a shared piece, experiencing how Kintsugi turns team building into, literally, rebuilding.
Step by step, the cracks of the object become a mirror of a shared challenge or a personal story. Emotions are welcomed, reframed and anchored in the gesture, and each participant leave with a creation that carries the essence of the experience, a concrete reminder that new strength can grow from what once felt broken.
The 6-Step Kintsugi Signature Method by Celine Santini
Celine Santini’s approach follows a clear six-step Kintsugi framework inspired by the traditional Japanese art of golden repair. This methodology works on several levels at once, blending symbolism, psychology, embodied practice and emotional insight. It offers a structured path that helps individuals and teams move from rupture to renewed strength.
1 Break: acknowledge what has cracked, observe the situation with honesty.
2 Assemble: gather the pieces, reconnect with what matters.
3 Wait: slow down, allow space, let the process unfold.
4 Repair: refine, release what no longer serves, clarify the priorities.
5 Reveal: highlight the scars, recognise the wisdom they carry.
6 Sublimate: step forward with new strength, grounded and aligned.
This signature method creates a golden thread through the entire workshop, offering a way to transform challenges into insight and to turn experience into growth. It adapts naturally to both personal exploration and collective work, providing a shared language for resilience and renewal.

What Makes Resilience Kintsugi Workshops Different from Traditional Kintsugi?
Traditional Kintsugi is the art of repairing ceramics. Resilience Kintsugi goes further: participants engage in guided introspection, symbolic gestures, emotional integration and the full Six-Step Kintsugi Method where each fragment becomes a metaphor. Through mindful repair and creative ritual, participants highlight their cracks with gold and give them meaning.
Can Participants Take Their Creation Home?
Yes. Each participant leaves with their own Kintsugi piece, infused with intention and symbolic meaning.
Do Participants Need Artistic or Personal Development Experience?
No experience is required. The method is guided, intuitive, inclusive and accessible at every level.
Do You Use Traditional Kintsugi?
We use a contemporary method specifically reinvented for workshop settings.
Traditional Kintsugi materials require months to dry and can trigger allergic reactions, which makes them unsuitable for group formats. Our approach reimagines the ancestral process while preserving the spirit of each traditional step. Every gesture, sequence, and intention echoes the original philosophy, but with modern, safe materials and a timing that fits a workshop environment.
Participants still experience the symbolic journey of breaking, assembling, repairing, revealing and illuminating, exactly as the traditional method intended, simply adapted so that transformation can unfold within a few hours or a full-day workshop. The emotional and symbolic depth remains intact; only the materials change, not the meaning.
Is the Material Included?
Yes. Everything is included and fully loaned to the participants during the workshop, allowing them to focus entirely on the experience rather than the logistics.
Can Participants Bring Their Own Object?
Yes, as long as it is discussed beforehand to ensure suitability.
Objects with two to four broken pieces usually work best.
Can the Workshops Be Adapted to Specific Groups?
Absolutely. The workshops are fully customisable and can be adapted to many contexts.
We regularly adjust sessions for specific environments, accessibility needs or group intentions. Every group is unique; the experience is shaped accordingly.
Kintsugi creates a shared space where transformation becomes tangible, both individually and collectively.

What does “custom Kintsugi workshop” mean?
A format co-created around a specific context, group and intention. It adapts the Kintsugi framework to the reality of the participants, ensuring the experience resonates with their situation rather than following a predefined structure.
What kinds of needs does it address?
Complex or sensitive situations where a standard format would not be sufficient. This includes moments of transition, tension or collective vulnerability that require a more nuanced, carefully tailored approach.
How is a custom workshop designed?
Through in-depth dialogue beforehand to define scope, rhythm and depth. This preparation clarifies intentions, boundaries and expectations, allowing the workshop to unfold in a way that feels coherent, safe and relevant.
Is it limited to corporate settings?
No. It can also serve institutions, associations or specific groups. Any collective facing unique challenges or transitions can benefit from a format designed around its particular context and dynamics.
Does Kintsugi remain central?
Yes. The symbolic framework remains the foundation. Even when adapted, the process stays rooted in the Kintsugi philosophy, ensuring coherence, depth and fidelity to its core meaning.
What is the main advantage of a custom format?
A precise alignment between the experience offered and the lived reality of participants. This tailor-made approach strengthens engagement, relevance and the lasting impact of the workshop.
